Default PCV impressions

I'll start this off with a disclaimer: I am not in any way affiliated with FM other than being a happy customer.

Installed Rinehart True Duals on my 08 Road Glide this winter. After reading what seemed to be a bazillion threads on heat, blueing etc. I figured I should upgrade from the stock ECM also. Everything I was reading was pointing to FM and the PCV. Called and ordered PCV and stage 1 intake kit from Jamie.

Finally got a ride in yesterday 3/6 (didn't think winter was ever going to end). All I can say is I'm very happy with the outcome. Seat of the pants (trust me too...I have a pretty large seat) says these mods made a pretty good difference. Throttle response seems more crisp, overall pull seems better, just seems better overall. Will keep track of mileage (yes I know it's going to suffer some with the map installed) but I would like to know. Jury is still out on heat reduction as it's still pretty "crisp" up here in NH. I'll see what happens in a month or so when things warm up some more.

All in all, I'm a very satisfied customer.

the pcv is a great choice for tuners. i bought the pcv for my 08 streetglide and was impressed with it, but the canned map was very fat. i called keith at fuelmoto and he was very helpful with sending a more correct map for me. it was surprisingly easy to download and install. it was still running too rich, so when i got my fresh motor build it came with the harley tuner, screamin eagle pro super tuner. man that's a mouthful, and with the dyno tune it works sweet. the pcv will accomplish the same task, but i just didn't have much luck finding a fine tuned canned map. it did feel as though the motor pulled noticeably stronger with the pcv than without it. ain't it great when you are a satisfied customer?

Just installed the PCV from Fuel Moto on saturday.
Have to say I am very impressed. Big improvement in the throttle response.
