Default Need Help: Identifing Muffler/Tip Please

I have an '03 E-Glide Classic that I bought off my father. He doesn't remember exactly which slip on mufflers are currently on the bike.

I do know for certain they do NOT say Screamin' Eagle in the normal (or any other) location on the mufflers.

I do know for certain that the slash cut, 3 mounting hole end caps that I removed are 3-1/2" diameter where they make entry into the muffler just like pictured below.

Here's where I'm getting confused, above it says fits Screamin Eagle...??? They are exactly what I removed from what I believe to be standard HD Performance Touring Mufflers, were they the same size as the Screamin' Eagle one's?

I'm asking because I'm trying to determine which fishtail end cap will work, in other words which one of these below is a 3-3/8" cap, and which is the 3-1/2" cap:

65245-96
or
65245-92

I know they are discontinued, but I want to clarify which p/n to be on the hunt for.

I'm sure someone here must know
Tnx,

JW

Thanks!

I did find one e-bay auction that describes the 65245-92 as 3-3/8".

Looks like I need to be on the hunt for the 65245-96.
Can anyone verify that it's in fact 3-1/2"?

On a side note, how did you do the "part locator"? Or are you gonna have to kill me if ya' divulge that info...

Cool.

Checked San Marcos, they showed one 65245-96 in the system, and a psychical check turned up zero.

I went to the dealer this evening and they found two singles in two different states. He can't verify until Wednesday when he comes back...I'm not getting my hopes up.

I'm having to do all of this because I bought two of the incorrect sized 4"ers a week ago, so I took them back hoping to find two of the discontinued ones somewhere.

you've got the 3 1/2" mufflers, and i believe that supertrap made them for harley. the 4" touring mufflers is what is listed now in the screamin eagle catalog, as well as in the parts and accessories screamin eagle section. i pm'd you cause i have a pair of the fishtails for the 3 1/2" mufflers. i bought them to use, and never installed them, but went to a 103" kit and used vance & hines 2 into 1 pro pipe instead. check your pm's. hope this helps. if anyone would know in here, it'd be dawg. he's mighty sharp with about every part that harley uses, but i'd almost bet you've got the 3 1/2" mufflers.
