Idle ???
Before I rip out the Fuel-Pac and purchase a PCV (which I'm sure your tell me to do LOL), I need to ask this question....
'09 SG, Pipes & A/F Filter...At idle, the RPM's (needle) fluctuates between 950-1000.....
Not sure if it did it before I installed the Fuel-Pac.....
I questioned V & H Tech Support and they said to increase the value of Mode#1 to 5 (initial value was 0 per the website for my model pac and bike set-up)
The increase to 5 caused the RPM's to fluctuate between 1200-1500.
Bike runs fine, MPG in the low 40's.....
Does the needle on your tach's fluctuate while the bike is at idle?????

it should idle at the rpm's you stated yours does. the evo's and earlier models would idle slower, but you've got to remember, with the twin cam, the oil pump has to keep the bearings lubed, and the cooling oil jets below the pistons operating too. they would sound more "harley-esque" with the lower rpm idle, but the twin cam motors just idle a bit faster than the earlier models, if that's what you're trying to compare it with. and yes, they all idle around the thousand mark. a bit faster till it's warmed up. if it's your 09 streetglide, it's supposed to idle that way. the needle will bounce a bit. not to worry.
