No music
I installed a set of Hogtunes speakers a couple of weeks ago. They sounded great. Thursday, I loaded up my 08 Eglide and struck out for Tampa. Music was nice and loud till about 60 miles into the return trip home. At this point, we had put about 900 miles on the bikes with no issues whatsoever. I was cruisin down I-75 when all of a sudden, no sound?
The radio works fine, all functions as normal, and every so often if you cut the radio off and right back on everything is fine for about 1-2 mins? Then nothing? That seems to me like its not a fuse problem?
I did see what I thought what might be some sort of code this a.m. on the way to work. It flashed thru during the title to the radio station. LIke I said, you can leave the radio/cd player running, just no sound.
I believe the code was W206
I havent pulled the fairing yet ( no time) and I was going to see if its possibly something I can handle without the local dealer.
I suppose the first thing I'll do is try the stock speakers again.
Any ideas?

I had the same problem on my 08. The dealer didn't believe me, cause they couldn't re-create it. They also said it was my amp and speakers. It is a known problem with the HK radios. You can get them to prolly replace it but the new one could have the same issue. I sent mine to Iron Cross Audio to get it fixed for good. They know all about this.
