I never had apes til I got the Cross Bones, thought I would switch them out but I admit they are the most comfortable bars I have ever had, down side is I keep the windshield on all the time due to the parachute position I sit in.
I am thinking about some bagger apes just to releave the lower back pain, had them on my street bob and they were very confortable. Just trying to decide which ones, thinking about 10". How much would 10" be above stock on a steet glide?

Love the 16's on my Dyna. Very comfortable even on longer rides. That being said, I'm not a big fan of apes on baggers. Have lots of friends who swear by 'em, but their just not for me.
I am looking at new bars for my roadking that has a batwing on it. It has stock bars on it and my arms or streched out and I lean foward. I sat on a heritage classic and like the stock bars it had. They appear to me to be an "mini ape". So I think I may look into some 8" mini apes or maybe 10", someone else already ask this but can anyone tell me if 8" or 10" will stick above the fairing? I realy like the bagger bars that have the bend down low to clear the fairin but most 8'' and 10" dont have it. So does any one know of any * or 10's that have the bagger bend?
By the way My right hand goes numb all the time with my stock RK bars, thank god for cruise control!!!!!!!!!!!!!
