At my shop we offer a roadside assistance program that comes with the nitrofill on the tires and only costs 29.95 a year which includes a tire coverage also.
If you have GEICO, the Emergency Roadside Service covers motorcycles too. It's cheaper than the HOG Roadside Assistance (when you take in account that you also have to pay for a HOG membership in order to get the Roadside Assistance).
In Canada .. we have CAA (which is the Canadian Equivalent) ... and we pay extra for the "Plus" package ... which would pay for a flatbed to pick up a motorcycle. It can be used in Canada AND the USA. So if WE can get that kind of coverage, why can't you?
Someone mentioned AMA coverage - I am a lifetime member of AMA and there is no coverage option currently available for lifetime members. You have to set up an automatic renewal on your membership. I've contacted AMA several times about this - every time the answer is the same - "we're looking at it". I am going to go with HOG.
