I've had two tows with AAA. One (in Canada) was 160 miles. The other was in Idaho, 105 miles. Hate to see what that would have cost with AMA.

Towing services are covered up to 35 miles to the nearest qualified service facility (or to any other location requested by the member of equal distance at no expense to the member). If over 35 miles, the member is only responsible for the overages incurred after the initial 35 miles.
That is why I went with Good Sam and unlimited towing distance.
aaa will add bikes for 35 year if u already have auto coverage... otherwise , many insurance companies provide roadside for a very small add on
And...they all have mileage limitations. I paid extra for AAA Premium and it was still limited to 200 mi which was better than the basic 50 mi. I think my Geico policy is only 10 mi.
