Very easy job like previously said takes maybe twenty minutes.
I installed Avon grips and love them. Someone else from the forum turned me onto them and they have several different type grips and are very high quality and the price is very fair on them. The ones I installed are on the link below. Good Luck and make sure you order the fly by wire grips http://avongrips.com/shop/products/C...ome-Grips.html
Installed Avon's a month ago, found doing the left side with the water activated tape more of a pain than the throttle side. Unbolt and slide off the old one and on with the new then adjust the angle of the brake to your liking, done.
Like others have said, very easy to change out.
I had changed mine upon bringing the beast home
and now I took those off and installed heated HD
grips, a little more to that but no problem if you
take your time. Don't hesitate, you can do it.
