Default ? for people w/modified stock muff's

Can anyone out there that has purchased any of those modified stock muff's on e-bay describe to me what you see when you look down the inside of the muffler? Or better yet post some pics. I am really looking for feedback on the quieter ones. I see the stage 3's they change the whole baffle. I guess what I want to know is are they just drilling out the center of the muff. front/back or both. if thats the case I can do that myself.
Thanks, Lou

I started a thread on those muffs awhile back, try this https://www.hdforums.com/m_583383/tm.htm but be sure you buy the ones you like best because there are 3 different vendors on ebay selling reworked stockers, and they all do them different.

I have the B&E Superflows on my '06 SG and I'm very happy with them. I think they are completely drilled out and then a glass packed buffle is welded in place, leaving about a 2" opening. I'll try to take a pic tonight and post it. Might be difficult with them on the bike though. The Ebay seller - Bobvic2 - was very good to deal with.

Ok. If you are looking at the older models that B&E has (Max1, Max2, Max3), I would stay away from them. They have no packing in the baffles and are a bit tinny sounding. The Superflows are a little more expensive, but much better sounding and not too loud. I think he can use a 1.75" baffle if you request it to quiet it down a little more.
