Weird..............I do agree that they are both awesome amps. All the shops I dealt with on the west coast , swear that the Alpine PDX out performs the JL Audio.
Maybe it's an east coast / west coast thing.

Im using the 1 JM at 500 watt on the front 4 and an ARC 250 watt in tour pak for rear 2. Works rather nicely I must say. Need to do final tweaks to max power and clarity. JM 7,25 XT all around and Lowers and rears all quick release. Can go from family truckster to lowrider in a matter of seconds.
