I was riding in Tennessee and North Carolina last week on all the great roads that are there, but the headlights at night did not give enough light on the roads. I would like to know how the LED headlights and auxiliary lights compare to the original headlights and auxiliary lights on a Road King or the light on a Street Glide. I do not want to buy the LED lights if they do not give enough light on the road when they cost so much. I have a road king with the original lights, but I was riding a 2014 Street Glide with the upgrade HID lights that did not do much better than the road king lights. I hope someone can help me with my problem?
Hi there
I was looking for older posts, but I am new to this forum and I could not find something useful in time without getting stuck in some other cool posts...
So, I think my head light on my Fatboy is a Road King light (I guess you guys will be able to tell me quickly if that is true or not). And my questions is, is there a possiblity to change the light bulb myself without going to a Harley Dealer? The next one is 2 hours away from me. Thanks for any help. Carla
Hope this pic is helpful...
I bought my first Harley 3 months ago and was a bit hesitant to work on it because I had never worked on a bike. I suggest you look thru Youtube next time you want to do something to your bike. Youtube has great videos on just about everything! I have already done oil changes, brake pads, brake fluid flush, front tire removal, front fender swap and Ape Hanger handlebars all by watching on Youtube and asking the great guys here on Hdforums. Enjoy the bike
