I am just about to tear down my new to me 98 Road King Classic for powdercoating and I was wondering about slip-on mufflers. My bike came with some sorta Slip-On and although I havent torn into it yet looks like I won't be able to remove the stock baffle/packaging. I like the way the bike sounds but I def. need it ALOT louder to survive on the mean streets of Chicago. Pic of the bike below as it stands :
So I was wondering what you guys thought might be the best bet $$ wise in a slip-on fishtail muffler that does have removeable baffle ?
As usual all and any help is greatly appreciated...
They look like Samson's and I would bet they are as their baffled fishtails have non removable baffles. I think you should get a set of Samson unbaffled slip ons to replace those. Let me know if you need discounted pricing on whatever brand you decide on and PM me for pricing. We can't post prices in threads.
