Hit 5000 this week on my Ultra with no problems. It does run a little warm in town, but it is 100 degrees out! May put an oil cooler on next week and a hammock seat. Otherwise stock except for SE exhaust.
5000mi on my Ultra Limited. Stage one and PCv cooled the exhaust heat down. Got the new Low seat, helped with the reach problem when backing up. Chrome pitting and peeling on the rear wheel (factory powdercoat and chrome). Dealer replaced it with no problems. Bike runs great, love the new frame and handling.
Just dropped mine off at the dealership this a.m. for the 15K service. The only problems I've had: 1) had to have the Harmon/Kardin system replaced under warranty, the aux port was unattached and wouldn't work. 2) after 3 months the adjustment pin on the adjustable backrest fell out somewhere along the line, again, replaced under warranty. No other problems. The heat from the cats CAN get a little toasty when you get stuck in traffic in 90 degree weather, but I haven't saved up enough for new pipes, af, mufflers and fuel management system yet.
While it's in, I'm having the rear tire replaced. Probably could have gotten another 1-2K miles from it, but recently, that only been 2-3 weeks and it was just more convenient to have it done while they are doing the rest of the services.
And yes, I did buy the priority service plan. By my calculations, averaging 3,000 miles a month as I am, the plan cost me less than the fluid and filters will over the life of the plan.
