So how are the 2010s running? I haven't been keeping up with the chatter on the new ones but my buddy is looking at a new RK and I thought I'd ask.
I know the 09s had the tire issues, has that been resolved with the 2010s?
Any other new issues, like with the cats or anything? This guy keeps his bikes pretty bone stock, so stage 1s and all that are pretty much not his gig. (I know, he maybe should think twice with that and a Harley.)
He's coming off a Kawasaki Vulcan that is as clean as the day he took it off the showroom floor in about 02 or 03. He says HD has a $1K over trade-in value deal and he likes the sound of that.
Mine has been fine for the first 3000 miles then winter came along. Exhaust was extremely hot for a couple hundred miles but seems fine now. Love it!!!!!
I have had mine for only a week and 600 miles. Its runs better and better every time I ride it. It does seem to be putting out less heat the more I ride. I want to ride more, but the weather is not so great.
If this fricken snow will melt I could give you some input. I took it out today but the roads are still too bad. Got a little fishtail action going under an underpass. Parking lots are still icy. Only got 51 miles on it. Another couple of weeks I guess.
I have a 2010 Street Glide and love it. Only have about 250 miles on it, but its been running great. I live just north of NYC so the weather hasnt been the greatest besides the past fews days, so I havent had much time on it. Looks like more crap weather is moving in again for this week :-( cant wait for it to be over already
