You will not be able to use your stock mirrors with 10"s unless your arms are transparent.

Whitegold,
I noticed that you went with clutch and brake lines. How much over did you go with the new lines and wires? I have read that you don't need longer lines and wires with the 10's but if they are really 11's. Your bike looks terrific! Did you go with the new cables for looks or did you have to use longer?
Thanks

It took me a while to install my OEM Monkey Bars that are pretty much the same bars except for a Road King. Actually, now that I look at the pics there is actually one extra sharp bend at the base of the bars in them. I have to admit the internal wiring was pretty easy compared to the nightmares I heard. I took me about less than 30 minutes.

I used some strong twine I had in the garage and tied a couple knots in the end to create a knot at the end a little smaller than the internal diameter of the bars. Then I slipped a vacuum cleaner hose over grip end covering the hole cut to access the controls, feed the knot in the base, fired up the vaccum and covered up the other holes with my hand and the twine sucked right through the end of the grip. I used a small hook I made out of a metal wire to fish the twine out of the control hole then used electrical tape to attach twine to the internal wires at the base, tied a small knot around the electical tape and pulled them through after spraying the wires with some lubricant that dried into a powder.

The twine broke once pulling the second wire through so I had to do it again.

Now the brake lines were another story . . .

It depends on how tall you are. I'm 6'6 and i can see the mirrors under my arms no problem.
