PYO monkey bars...FINALLYYYYYYY!

PYO monkey bars...FINALLYYYYYYY!
I finally got my PYO monkey bars today. I must say, the bars do look great, but of course there has to be some kind of an issue. This whole experience wouldnt be complete without some kind of issue..LOL. Anyway, what it is, is I special ordered 10" monkey bars and waited 3 months for them..What did I get? Well, I got a set of 11" monkey bars..LOL. I took them out of the box and held them up to the bike, and I was like WOW, these are farther over the fairing than I have seen in pics of 10". Sure enough, I measure them and no matter how I placed the tape measure, nothing measured 10". I called Paul, and of course he says "no, they are 10 inch, then says, well maybe we sent you 12 by accident. He tell me exactly how to measure them, and sure enough, they are not 10's, they are not 12's, but 11's. Paul told me every set of 10's are customed made, and it is possible the measurement is off..LOL, if I want to send them back, he will send me an RA# and he will make it right. I will only have to wait "a few weeks" for him to CUT THESE, REWELD, and RECHROME.!!! After 3 months waiting already, NO THANKS, Although, I am not happy that they are not what I ordered, I specifically ordered and wanted 10" bars so as not to be to far over the fairing, I AM NOT sending them back. I will just have to deal with it and maybe sell them and get a new set or maybe different bars next winter.
Anyway, It only took me 2 hours to internally wire them and they are ready to bolt on, but I ordered poly riser bushings, and of course they havent been delivered yet, so I will see if they come by noon tomorrow, and if not just gonna run over to my local indy and pick a set up and put these on tomorrow. Will post some pics as soon as they are all buttoned up.

2 Hours to wire them!! Wow that sounds really fast from what others have written. Any helpful hints?

Glad you finally got them bro! I bet you will love them even at 11 inches. Your post is yet just one other reason I didn't want to order and wait............I have seen 12's that look like 14" or so, 12's that look like 12 or 13", and I have seen pics of 10's that look like 12's.
I didn't want to order a 14" bar and get 12's or order a 16" bar and end up with something that looks like this................
