New Cams, New A/C, New Damage! (DYNO Sheet in POST #36)
So I finally got my new cams installed. Andrews 37H, S&S lifter limiters, adjustable pushrods. Also put on the new PM Super Gas A/C... Humidity was a little higher than Bobby would've liked when he tuned it, but I wanted it back...yesterday! Ended up with 85HP/94TQ. Nice curve, good power from 2500 to 5500, just what I wanted!. I'll post the sheet later..Borrowed by buddy Mark's trailer and brought it home yesterday. Rained all the way home, got in front of my house, pulled front wheel out of the chock, holding brake, whole freaking bike starts sliding backwards, down the ramp, over on it's side. Got the bike off my hip and leg, dusted off my pride and lifted her straight up. Boy was I pissed! Scuffed the right saddlebag, fairing lower, grip and floorboard. Oh well, she's home. Haven't had much time to ride due to being extremely sore today...

Sorry to hear about the damage. The first time you crack that throttle it will make you forget a little. Good luck getting fixed and enjoy the motor work.
Ouch! Dang, Mike, sorry to hear that. Is the damage bad enough that you'll want to take care of it right away, or is it minor enough to wait?
You wanna know something? The kind of guy that that sort of thing NEVER happens to?
The guy that's sitting home on the couch.
We all have our little mishaps. I'm always grateful when it doesn't also involve some kind of injury. You can always fix or replace a saddlebag. I'm really glad you weren't hurt.
What a pisser. It's a terrible feeling sliding backwards down a slope on a bagger. Did this once a couple of years ago getting a bike back to the dealership for a buddy and just slid backwards when the driver tilted the bed of the tow truck--fortunately my slide was straight and the bike stayed erect--very high pucker factor, however.
Enjoy the build; get friendly with a good painter; and all will be well soon.
