Default Engine guard fog lights, HD

I am thinking about adding the engine guard mounted fog lights to my roadking.
Was wondering if anyone has put them on and if they really added enough extra light that made them worth the money. P/N 68913-98B.

Indeed, they are worth it. They throw a nice flat wide beam of light that covers both sides of the road. I have had mine for about 4 years now on a Street Glide, and love them. I just transfered them from my 2006 SG to my 2009 SG last summer, because I couldn't let them go. I also mounted them to a friend's bike about 3 year ago and he enjoys the heck out of them too. Well worth the money.

They are well worth the $$. Lights up the ditches also.

Make sure you run your wiring inside the guard. Doing it the Harley way looks like crap.

I have looked at a variety of extra lights. Motolight do some very attractive small lamps that fit onto the front brake calipers, but the Harley ones are much cheaper, so that is probably the way I will go too.

Do you have any pics of how you drilled the engine guard and any advice of how you went about it?

Cheers in advance,

Regards,

Chris.
