I put a set of the 940s on my '09 Street Glide about 3 weeks ago and I love them! They are super comfortable, easy as heck to adjust if you want to change them from soft to stiff and on bumps and road imperfections, they are amazing!
I highly recommend them!
Let me know if you have any questions on them!
Shawn
-How much do you weigh?
-What pressure did you use with the stock shocks?
-Is the 940 shock ride softer or more stiff?
-How is the compression and rebound? More or less controlled than the stock shocks?

Well I'm not Dr. V-Twin but I'll answer.
-315lbs, yeah I know!
-I tried using factory recommendations but the ride was jarring.
-The stiffness is however you want it to be by adjusting the preload.
-The ride now has no jarring, just nice, smooth and controlled.

Thanks. I'm 235, and find that the ride on my stock shocks is pretty good at 38lbs. Only bottoms a little on big hits. The 13" shocks ride hard no matter what pressure I use. Two-up, the 13" shocks ride awesome with about 40-45lbs in them.
Anyway, I want a more versatile low profile shock. One that has a controlled but smooth ride. And I don't want a $700 bad experiment.
I need to drop my Ultra 10 about 1", has anyone used the HD Showa air shocks ? They are HD and drop it i" but I do not know anyone who has them or has used them , HELP ?
