I have a set used em 3 mos this year after the dealer lowered my bike. I went a different way to lower it and took them off. Still in great condition and in box. I have reciepts. Their yours for half of what they cost. 09 Ultra. The ride is more agressive and it handles much better in traffic.

I have the 940's and they seem to bee ok but Im yired of throwing good money out there to find an ultimate ride. I have about 4k on them and all is well. Im 200# solo Im 1 turn off light and solo tour pack with junk Im 4 to 4-1/2turns out, and yes I will bottom out occasionally.
So if anyone is interested im selling a set of chrome 440's with both standard and heavy duty springs.
Running 440's with solo spring rate and 412's with dual spring rate. Also front springs. Very pleased with ride. Any coil over will out perform air shocks. Having said that, a manufacturer with a customer stranded from home should step up to the plate and have a replacement shipped overnight to the closest shop near the rider so he can continue on his ride. Shame on any manufacturer that doesn't consider the customer stuck by the side of the road.
oldbagr - at this point it's best to call me for your pricing.
Again guys, we have these shocks in stock. We'll work with HDForum members on these shocks so you guys can buy from your forum sponsor and a reputable business.
I just put the 940s on the road dawg today.I'm not even close to being even a weekend wrench. Followed what was said on the board and no problems.Short test ride of 25 miles on bad road.So far WOW,i'm impressed. My back didnt protest at all.It does sit slightly lower but rides 200% better.
Any of you lighter-weight folks try these 940s with a lighter spring in them? I just spoke with the company sales guy and he said if I found them too stiff I could send them in for a spring change for about $20 via an RMA. I'm about 160 and ride my RK Custom (12" stock shocks) solo 3/4 of the time. But when wifey jumps on back, it's usually for a road trip, and we add a detachable tourpak, load the saddle bags, and add a top bag - between her and the gear we probably add another 180# or so.
