I have the 940's on my 2010 RKC. I am a light weight around here at 170 lbs, and ride mostly by myself, but do take my 100 lb daughter out most weekends. I am not overly pleased with the 940's, and couldn't recommend them. They don't bottom out, but they are pretty stiff, even at the softest setting. My daughter has almost been launched when we hit a good bump on the highway, so she hangs onto my back like a scared cat. I need the lowering for my stubby legs, but I may go back to stock, or find a pair of SG low profile shocks.

Plenty of shops discount them. Phat Performance has them at $175 off list and the tubes for $75 off list. That's where I got mine. PM MarineBagger, sounds like he might sell his.

MarineBagger, SG shocks bottom pretty easy. I tried SG and I'd rather have firm than mushy and bottoming out.

I just got back in from testing the 940's on my 10 RG. IMO a major improvement over the stock shocks. Rode 2 up, they really smoothed the ride out for us. I purchased mine from phatperformance, they offered a huge discount and free shipping.

I did get several PMs about trades and offers for the shocks. I appreciate it, but I'm not ready to let them go just yet, but I will contact you guys if I decide to change them. I'm stubborn and I'm not ready to surrender yet.

Right now nobody has these shocks in stock anyway. I would like to know when they are going to become available.

If you buy 440's or 940's, Progressive will give you the front springs. The sale is for April only.

Are the 940's air adjustable? About what can we expect to pay...ballpark? I have an 09 Ultra and with my short legs I need to drop it a little. Front and rear. What would you guy's recommend?

They are pre-load(spring)adjustable. These would work good I think, but whatever you do front or rear that lowers the bike you will have decreased ride quality(more so in the front)
