Well the reason i never said anything before when everybody was asking me was because i wanted to wait and see if i run into any problems first. My problem i have right now is he is 3 hrs away from me,when i talked to him over the phone about what happend lets just say that the conversation didn't go to well. I am just a firm believer that when you pay your money things shouldn't just happen because they are parts so i will leave it at that so to speak.
I talked to some friends and they seem to think its my oil pump but i just don't understand why when the bike has only 8000 miles on it. The builder even suggested that it sound like the oil pump, this is so frustrating but i hope fulldraw00 have better luck then i did.
If any of this is even true, I dont know. I feel for you if it is. You talked to your friends and they think its the oil pump? Look, you could have had a lot more friends and a wealth of help and information right here on this forum. Quit being so dam vague and maybe things will go better for you. How the hell is a public forum supposed to work if everyone was a vague unwilling to answer basic questions about a piece of machinery as you have been. Quit acting like people want your secret build specs. Good luck on your dealings with your builder.

I know what your saying, but look what good would have came out for this person especially on this forum that i had this problem and if its the oil pump is he going to make it right or is he going to make me pay for it but i don't know that unless i ship it 3 hrs away again. If i take it to a local shop and they say it is the oil pump i loose my warranty if they it. Some people can think what they want but i am talking about this to help this guy here so he doesn't make the same mistake. I saw the different threads on oil pumps some last a long time and some don't but i just hate having to send my bike 3 hrs and waiting till whenever to find out if it is or it isn't.

Man that really sucks. I hope no damage was done IF it was the oil pump taking a crapper. It sure doesn't take long with no oil pressure to FUBAR a good engine.
Its funny but i remember asking the builder of my 117 would i need a different fuel pump for this build and his answer was the stock ones work fine. I just hate the fact i have to send the bike back again with no telling when i will get it back.

a different FUEL pump...WHATTTTTTTT!?!?!?!? I thought you said it was your OIL PUMP!? Dude, do you even know what you are talking about? besides, if your oil pump was not alligned correctly, it can cause it to fail. And, from what I have read, the older oil pumps suck. Why a builder would tell you that it is fine with a 117" is beyond me, unless it was changed when you did your 95" build.....If you even did a build...I dont even know anymore.....This kind of sounds like a "perfect" way to cover up your BS postings...by next week you will be telling us you have a stock motor again!

I think he really means Bilge Pump, which everyone knows you have to upgrade when doing a 117 build.
To the OP - looks like Mark MPDC is going to hijack your thread too. If you point this out to the mods, maybe they'll delete this crap just like they did for PhilM's thread.
