I had these www.rbracing-rsr.com/ on my '05 Ultra, really did like them. They were a little too loud for my wife so didn't put them on the '09. The web site is an interesting read.
Uhmmmm ........... The web site is an extremely long read. Sheesh ............ It's gonna take a good while to get through it !
yes, i'm quite familiar with outpost harley even when it was across elizabeth from kmart, which is where i bougt a harley back in the nineties. back when the harley shop didn't dream of even having a dyno, when phil was the owner. then the clown who used to run a mc donalds bought the place and they moved up to the two story facility they now have a mile north. so yes, i do know exactly how friggin po dunk things can be. as far as you assuming that you tested every two into 1 system on every motor built, that would have taken a lot of time, which dealerships aren't too fond of doing without reaping some sort of benefit. just cause you say it, does not mean it's so. you're ego is sorta outrunning your ***, that's my thought, and if ya don't like it, i suggest you read my nickname backwards.
So you know the area, what you obviously DONT know is what goes on in a given dealership at any given time. We built motors during the winter, you know when the white stuff is on the ground and all the fair weather rubs dont even remember they own motorcycles let alone ride them, so we had lots of time to do in house testing and we did just that. We also built ground up custom bikes, something else the AVERAGE dealer doesnt do. We werent AVERAGE, we were the best in the state. For the average in the box, follow the *** in front of you types, you're not able think past the end of your little wanger so you dont realize that all that time we spent in the dyno room in the winters is why there is a need for a 35000 square foot dealer in a town as small as Pueblo. We had customers from all over Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming, Texas, Oklahoma, Utah and New Mexico that would pass several dealers to come to US!
Like I said BEFORE, we didnt test every pipe on every combination, but when you do as much as we did the data starts to pile up and when you KNOW what your looking at its pretty easy to put it all together.
"Ego outrunning my ***"?Not hardly! "Just cause you say it, does not mean its so"? Unlike MANY here Ive never said anything I have not seen or done first hand!
If YOU dont like it, you can take your nick name, turn it around and consider it a gift from me!
Thanks for all the replies. I've been looking at used stuff (which could be a mistake in exhaust systems, I don't really know), but you wonder why they are selling their 2 into 1. I mean if 2 into 1 is as good as is reported, what are they going back to? Stock? Duals? I don't really like the one muffler look on a bagger, but if the performance is really as good as reported on here, I'm interested.
Funny, I think it looks better. You can always buy a dummy for the left side.
Beware of people claiming to be the best or #1. Large egos tend to get stomped on in the real world. Normally if a shop is real good their reputation grows to a point where you actually hear the name on the forums. Doesn't matter where they are in the country, You will hear about them. And no it won't be THEM tooting their own horn.

Yeah, OK, know it all, that rating came from Harley Davidson based on customer feed back, and you can reserch that at HD's customer service 1-800 line!
Its funny how some people are intimidated by those that have more knowledge than them and feel the need to bash them instead of learn from them, sometimes if you open your eyes and ears and shut your mouth you can learn a few things!
Unfortunately for that shop and its customer base, three of the four techs that EARNED that #1 rating no longer work there, two of us moved to different areas of the country and one moved to an aftermarket shop in the area!
You get to blame the current ex Mc Donalds clown for that!

Well using that logic, which is has it's merit by the way, you also must also look at how many TD systems and 255 cams that are for sale used. If you're gonna look at parts up for sale used as a sign of sub standard performance keep a list of all parts up for sale used , not just the one that you are trying to justify not buying because you don't like the way it looks.
