Yeah, we tested everything from mild 95's to 150 horse 131's.
95's, 103's, 116's, 117's, 120's, 124's AND 131's
Pretty much the same results each time!
Are you trying to tell me that you guys dyno tested all the 2 into 1 pipes out there with all the different tube sizes and configurations on all those sizes of motors? Different head and port and valve sizes? Im calling BS on this there are to many variables to declare how one pipe performs better then any other pipe.
agreed blkbagger. even the mega exhaust builders do not go to that extent, let alone an indy shop in po dunk idaho. not sure where he got his figures, but it sorta seems like a bit of ego trippin' going on there. thanks anyway.

I am still undecided about which 2-1 pipe to go with and as usual everyone thinks theirs is the best. I also don't see how every configuration could possibly be tested, as every build is different. Even though you and I basically did the same build, just doing head work on mine makes it different from yours. I want to move a little more TQ down lower and they will all do that but, I also want it just a little quieter for touring.
Sound is subjective to the person hearing it and not everyone will agree on any two pipes. Performance is objective and the proof is in the numbers. That being said, nobody will notice 5-7 HP / TQ on the butt dyno, unless your butt is calibrated. That leaves quality. So I would like to know who makes the best quality pipe.

I agree..............tuner has something to do with it as well......The Rage I tried on "my" motor didnt do didly............EVERY pipe likes different rpm's and performs differently at different levels........ and every motor will be different.....Buddy of mine has the EXACT same set as me and doesnt quit get as much as me out of it.............yet A/F is real close, it just depends.........way top many variables!!!

Says the guy from po dunk Oklahoma! What makes you so narrow minded to ASSume I work at an indy shop or that some place in "po dunk Idaho" woulnt have a dyno and someone that knows how to operate it?
This was when I was in Colorado at the DEALERSHIP with the #1 service dept in the state, which happens to be in po dunk Pueblo! The size of a city or state has NOTHING to do with the available services in a given place. Open your mind to the possibilities that it doesn't nor has it ever taken a BIG city to be the leader of any industry.
We built 100's of motors every year, like I said everything from mild 95's to 150hp 131's and everything in between. We dynod every build we did and we did testing with different pipes all the time.
Did we test every pipe on every build? NO! But when you do enough dyno tuning you know what does what and have plenty of data to compare when you try something new or different.
We did do direct comparisons of Borzilla and Road Rage on the same 124 and both those and the LSR on the same 131 with the results I posted above.
I bought the new Rush 2-1 and love it. Fit and finish are great and you can pick from three different baffles. Also, someone (sponsor) posted a dyno comparing the Rush and the D&D on the same stock bike and they were almost identical. Plus the Rush is alot cheaper!
I had these www.rbracing-rsr.com/ on my '05 Ultra, really did like them. They were a little too loud for my wife so didn't put them on the '09. The web site is an interesting read.
