Is there a "best" 2 into 1 exhaust system, or are they all pretty much the same? I am more interested in "rideability" and performance than in sound. (In fact I'm looking to quiet things down without losing performance. Also more interested in low end torque than top speed and high HP numbers.) I am looking to gather information in support of a possible future purchase. I've read the manufactures claims, (I have also used the 'search' function thank you very much! ) but I'd like to hear what those of you who have the "2 into 1", as well as what you Tuners out there have to say.
Thanks, Mike

Most of the 2-1 exhaust systems are very close in performance and the 2-1 is the best choice for performance ,torque and hp, when was the last time you saw any non super charged engine without a 2-1, 3-1, 4-1,5-1 header type system, yes they all have them cause they work the best in 99% of all applications , I say 99% percent cause I can't think of 1 instance now where a non-header type self scavenging system will work better but I could be wrong. Drag racing , circle track, nascar, indy, formula 1, every non-supercharged engine, that is looking to be the best runs this type, take advantage of their R&D.

The best all around 2 into 1 for the street is D&D's Fatcat,Fatcat Boss & the Boarzilla.JMHOP!!! All 3 exhaust when paired with the right parts make great HP & TQ.The fit & finish is also very good!!! JMHOP
Gotta agree on the Fat Cat. I have the quiet baffle version and the motor has a nice long flat torque curve. Torque jumps up almost to max at 2500 and stays there until 5000. Fit and finish is top notch, and Dawg recently had a really good customer service experience with them.
I had these www.rbracing-rsr.com/ on my '05 Ultra, really did like them. They were a little too loud for my wife so didn't put them on the '09. The web site is an interesting read.
