Hey gang.. I have a question in regards to IPODs. I have an IPOD touch. I was looking through HD's catalog and noticed they had a product called BOOM Audio Tank Pouch. From what I can gather by reading the product description is the pouch is held to the bike by a magnet. Does anyone have this product and how does it work? My fear is it may scratch the tank. If all else fails, I can only put the IPOD in my fairing storage compartments.
I have one. Never had a problem with it scratching...but I think you would be wise to make sure the bike is clean. Works fine but honestly have since bought a ipod nano to use on the bike. I just velcro it do the fairing when I use it.
I use an Ipod touch also and I attach it via velcro to
a fold-up cup holder that is on the throttle side and I
am able to operate it while riding also.

+1 velcro on the top of the dash and the IPOD... works fine... recommend you get the flash drive IPOD...not the Hard Drive.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I didn't realize they made such a thing as the claw and velcro is a pretty easy fix as well...
Luc.who - I curious to know why you suggest a flash drive IPOD and not a hard drive.
I would suggest, that the Nano is the only flash drive driven Ipod, and will never lock up, due to vibration. all others you face the risk of lockup and breakdown!
