Default Road Glide owners, windshield question?

I searched windshields and got some great info, but here's my problem: I have a 2006 Road Glide with the stock windshield, I want to put on a different shield to try to stop some of wind buffeting. The problem is I have a Harley radar detector and I know it interfers with some of the after market shields. So my question is does anybody have the radar detector with a after market windshield and which one and how do you like it? I'm 6' 1" with the Corbin dual tour seat and I like looking just over the top of the shield. Can you help me, thanks in advance!

I'd like to go with a Clear View, guess I'll just call them tomorrow.

I'm 5'9 and the Clearview one is good for me. Tried a bunch, it's all in the seat you have, your height and what viewing angle. If buying a Clearview, look at their specials. They have some with minor flaws and if you can deal with that, its cheaper.

Thanks for that info. Do you have a radar detector mounted on your inner fairing?

You should be able to ask them at Clearview if the angle of the WS is any different than stock, if not it should fit, they might know from experience if it fits also. Another option is a Windvest, very similar design, both with a recurve, but most say the Windvest recurve is a little more & it throws the air flow up a little higher. Those 2 seem to have the most positive reviews.

I dont think a windshield alone is going to solve the problem.

Clearview +2 and Hogg Chopp lowers. = zero buffeting for me. Nice clean pocket of wind to ride in, no head jerking...As far as redar detector, I cannot help, sorry. Like others said, talk to John at Clearview. I bought a 'blem' for 25% off and shipped same day. Never saw ANYTHING wrong with it.
