Default 2007 Street Glide problem
A friend of mine has a 2007 SG that did not start on 2 different times about a year apart. He heard a light click & nothing, let it sit for a short period of time 15-20 min & it started no problem. Anyone else experience this? I will talk to him tomorrow & get more info. Thanks

Never had mine not start but I have had it quit on me... once... out in the middle of now where... but it immediately started up again and off I went... I think about that now and again but I've never looked into what could have made it die...

My grandfathers 07 ultra did that. They changed the ingition switch and all is well. Never had a problem with my 07 flhx

Check the starter bolts. Same thing happened to me twice and my starter was loose and loosing it's ground. There is a service bulletin on it with new torque specs.

keeping the battery in tip top shape with cleaned connections lessens problems. i was unaware of a new bulletin concerning the torque specs of the starter bolts. gotta look into that one.

Talked to my friend last night & told him about the starter bolts. So he went out & checked them last night, sent me a email telling me that the bolts were indeed loose. 1 did a full turn & the other 1/2 turn. Time will tell as far as that being the problem, but I am sure that is what it was. Thanks for the info.
