Default Ultra Tour Pack removal

I am venturing into new ground here. In looking over my new-to-me '91 Ultra, it seems to be a bit more involved in removing the Tour Pack than my '80 FLH Classic's quick detach mount. ( Hey, I'm still adjusting to having that extra gear, and mirrors that I can see out of even at an idle!) My concerns are:

Where to start? I would like to be able to run around town w/o the trunk, yet still be able to put it back on for travel.

Can I remove the CB/intercom, which I will never use, without impacting the stereo's function from the fairing speakers? Most of the connections look like plug and play, I'd just have to get some sort of an antenna for the FM.

Thanks for the help, and the place to ask for it!

I fitted a tourpak to my FLHS. Essentially it is held on with four bolts, so is pretty quick detachable. That just that leaves the question of the electrical connections to detach it. My manual says to disconnect the antenna cable at the antenna and thread it through the grommet in the tourpak, and unplug the three-wire connector for the internal lights. There are connectors for each speaker under the seat. THEN you can remove those four bolts!

Hope that helps! I don't have speakers or radio on my bike and installed a twist-lock connector in the floor for the lights, so to remove I just untwist the connector and pull, then undo the four bolts.
