I have the SE 58 mm TB for the 08 Touring , look at the online SE parts catalog, sorry you're gonna have to work a little , for the # and be aware that without modification only 3 air cleaner units will fit , a Bob Wood , the SE Heavy Breather fits the 50 and the 58 both for 08 Touring and SE sells a 58 specific unit that is in the cat online but you cannot buy a K&N filter to fit, I am sure you could modify one to fit but I took mine off and went with the HB. Don't let the naysayers sway you, I have it on a 103 with huge heads on a Touring bike and it runs very well now, the tune will make or break your satisfaction with it. Oh and howdy neighbor, I am in Ventura Co. also.

I just had my TB modified by HPI (Horsepower inc.). they bored it out to a 54mm and siamesed a 1.800 manifold on the back of it. you can have the manifold left stock and just bore the TB to 54mm. the TB just came back today and it is a really nice looking piece. HPI does soem excellent work from what I can tell. I have an extra 08 FBW TB also, that I may be willing to sell if someone wants to minimize their downtime and have one to send out to HPI while they are still riding. Call HPI and speak to them about it.

a 103 is not likely to need a bigger throttle body. I doubt it is holding you back....

The HD Ventilator A/C will also fit the 58mm TB. I have both on my 2010 SE Ultra.

Did you do the install? I was told that the Ventilator needed modification to fit the 58 but he(the HD parts guy) may have been mistaken if you know that your Ventilator was installed unmolested.

Install was done by the dealer as a part of assembling my Hil,lside engine upgrade, however no modifications were needed to accomodate the Ventilator on the 58mm FBW Throttlebody.

Ventura is just a great area to have a bike. The weather couldn't be better, as is the scenery.
I just got mine running with the heads, cams and exhaust last week. I was going to put one on but I got sidetracked with other projects. Well, actually my money got sidetracked.
My boat is in drydock and it seems like every day it's there the boatyard seems to find more holes to pour money into.
I'm definately going to do it in a couple of weeks.
I dynoed it today and it made 112.1 RWHP and 109.9 RWT. I'm sure that we'll see another 5 with the bigger TB.
I agree that the TB has to show a significant improvement.
The flow bench clearly shows that each individual port flows WAY more than half what the TB flows. That tells me that the TB is definately a restriction.
Also when logging vacuum (KPA) at wide open throttle it shows that the inlet tract is restrictive. That's actually the best indicator.
I'm not an expert on Harleys, but an engine is an engine. I build and tune late model Corvettes for a living and the same principles apply.
I'm actually thinking that I might build some sort of fixture so I can run my bike on my car dyno. That would be pretty cool.
Thanks for the info.
