I have a 2009 Ultra and the right side of the Fairing Vibrates when i let off the throttle and cant seem to find it any where. Does anyone have an idea. I check all the bolts and screws cant find any loose.
Perhaps a broken fairing bracket.
You can easily test for a broken fairing bracket without removing the outer fairing (but with removing only seven screws that's not a big deal). Hold the grip on the right handlebar and push the outer edge of the fairing on that side with your other hand. It should move but only very slightly; if the fairing bracket on that side is broken the movement will be pronounced.
09's should have newer or upgraded brackets. Your vibration can be normal or a nature of the beast vibration. Do the test that rebbe18 suggested and you will be able to answer your question and at least narrow it down.
I checked the Fairing feels loose. So i took off the fairing and sure enought broken bracket on the right side. got a new one from the dealer (free) and replaced it.
Thanks For all the info
