anybody got a set they want to sell. went back to stock head pipes and se mufflers. now i can hear myself think. and i picked up some low end torque. the only thing i'm missing is the heat shields so anyone got a set. thanks.
Sorry, no spare heat shields. I'm in the process of doing the same thing you are, going back to the stock head pipes. They're out being ceramic coated to help with the heat. Should be back in about a week. After reading all the forums for a few years I'm tired of seeing the dyno reports of engines with stock head pipes making more power than my true duals.
You're just looking for the heat shields, not the pipes? What happened to the shields off your header pipes?
you know that is the 64 million dollar question. i never took them off in the first place. chance's are somebody helped them selfs to them when i was sharing some storage space. but i never know for sure.
I have the shields from my old stock header pipes that you're welcome to. And as an added bonus I'm only right down the road from you. ; )
