Default ignition switch problems

I could sure use some tips. 06 Ultra I parked in my car port as always with no problems. 2 days later I went out to ride my bike to work and the ignition switch is off in the lock position just like I left it. However my key will not turn the switch, it just wont move at all. I've tried moving the bars, tapping the switch wiggling the switch short of a big F N Hammer I don't know what to do. Any ideas at all? Shoot I can't even get it to a shop I cant get the thing out of my car port. What a class A bummer!

I don't know what happened but before I opted the BFH technique, I would go to a HD dealer with your vin# and get another key.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine on a trip. He called the local dealer and they came out and got it unlocked so he could ride it in and they fixed it. Call the service department of what ever dealer is close.

Ok I got a call from a guy I work with a HOG member you know the guy that knows everything the one that has seen it all yeah that guy. He says I hear you got an ignition problem, so I tell him about it. He says yep seen it many times here's what you need to do get a mid size screw driver dont matter flat head or phillips, take the plastic end and on top of your switch right in the middle there's a bar and shield logo. Take the screwdriver and give it two firm smacks not real hard but firm and it'll work. So I take the phone with me go out with my screwdriver and give it 2 raps put the key in so I can tell him he's full of B.S. and it turns. Just like that it works, I cycle it numerous times and it's fine. He says there's a pin in there that gets stuck some times. I don't know about that but hey it did work. So if you all ever get your ignition switch stuck 2 raps with a screw driver will do it. You know I almost wish it hadn't worked; so now I owe some beers and will gladly pay them if only I don't have to hear about it for the next 6 months.

I don't if it's the same issue, but there was a recall, or service bulletin, or something on the 06 ignition switches. got mine replaced while I had it in for something else shortly after buying it new.
