Project complete! Introducing ....... Bat-King
Johnny, I recently purchased a 2004 Road King Classic that has an OEM HD Ultra fairing. The previous owner has speakers installed the 5.25 inch speakers but nothing else. I want to do what you did to your bike and add gauges as well. Can you help me with providing info on gauges for this bike and the installation of them? Thanks
Bill

I finished it up yesterday and got a short ride in to check er all out; 40 Miles on the hi-way............
Conclusion; I love having tunes, and I love having a fairing in front of me, instead of the windshield. The Clearview w/recurve 6.5 is a great shield, I get very little wind to the head. I still can't believe the difference in a windshield and the batwing fairing. I took my hands off the bars at 75 mph and it tracked like it was on a rail.
The ARC audio system; 2/ 5.25's and 2/ 4's paired with the ARC 125.2 are a perfect match and flat out rock at hi-way speeds. My system is ran w/ my iPhone plugged direct to the amp RCA jacks, and I also have XM radio through the iPhone for more variety. I have lots of pics of the project I'd be more than happy to show to anyone interested.
I have a lot of people to thank for helping me in this project, all from the forum. Most of you know who you are, and 99% of you just sold me parts for great prices. A special shout out goes to SOKODEPLOYED (Tom Soko) for all the help he gave me in getting going on the wiring end of it. Thanks Tom!
Now, for those of you who are contemplating a big project or transformation to your current bike, don't hesitate......This forum ROCKS, and if you weed through the ****, you can find several great folks on here to help you get-er-done.
Here's a few pics. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do
