Vance and hines are pretty good it all depends on what you are trying to accomplish, have you tried slip on mufflers first, the stock headers are not to bad as far as backpressure and low end torque

But if you change headers i would recommend a tune or power commander

X2 !! I'm on my 2nd Bagger w/ a Thunderheader......pipes sound better than any other 2 into 1 I've heard.Plus they perform great. Remember......." chrome don't get ya home "

I'm waiting for my TH, I've been using drag pipes for years on my EVO, time to get back some of that lost power, not the sexiest pipe out there but they perform.

I recently installed TH 2:1 w/ falsee on my Glide before breaking it down to have it painted. I love the sound...

I have thunderheader slipons, 16,000 miles, on a carbed 04 RK custom and have no discoloring. TH's will definatly show a bad tune carbed or fuel injected.

I have the ThunderHeader on my StreetBob and the D&D Fatcat on my FLH. I like both as far as performance. The D&D does seem to be a little better made. The ThunderHeader is a flat black and I have had to touch it up a couple of times with heat paint due to a little rusting, but nothing major.

What did you end up going with?! I'm currently making my decision involving the same three pipes.
