Default Advice for 100+HP

I ride a '09 Street Glide with just the stage I kit, I would eventually like to be around 100HP. I dont know if the 110 kit is worth the money or if the 103 kit will have the horsepower. It seems the mechanics/riders I have talked to all have a different answer. Any suggestions or help in the matter?

A 103 or 107 will give you 100+ HP & TQ without splitting the cases along with cams and headwork.

1 hp/ci is very do able & a lot less expensive than a full teardown to bore the cases. I'd personally go the 106-107 route, either of those combined with a good P&P on the heads & a good cam selection should easily give you 100-115hp. Get with a good builder & explain what you're looking for & what your riding style is, are you looking for tons of tq down low or do you want hp at the top end.

+1 on the last two comments and also you probably want to concentrate more on good TQ number for the seat of the pants acceleration you're after.

All great answers. Most important is CNC ported heads! I have seen many 95" motors with over 100 horse with the right cams and heads. Good luck!

Just going withthe 103 big bore without bumping compression and cams will not get you to the century mark. A well prepped 103 or 107 will with the heads, cams and comp increase as well as a free flowing intake and exhaust will get you there and beyond. Check out www.protwin.com as well as some of the sponsors of this forum for more info.

Whats your budget?? Lots of ways to get to 100 squared. If you want guaranteed numbers, then head work is your answer!!But it don't come cheap.Call Dan Baisely & chat with him,he's one of the best in the business, but his heads come with a price tag. They put up solid numbers too!!!
