All my bills are...ok well most of my bills are caught up lol. Now I'm working on saving up for my Harley to be fixed! I still do not know what exactly NEEDS to be fixed but I'm putting my camaro up for sale & saving up about $1000 over the next month. I know I need around $2000 to fix my crank case but I'm not sure what if anything needs to be replaced in the engine. My mechanic hasn't been keeping in touch & I am planning on switching garages. Might have him close my bike up this coming Friday to ride over to the other shop where the mechanics actually communicate with you & give accurate quotes.
Anyways I am excited & felt the need to ramble on a post, especially since I haven't been on in a while! If anyone has a good link to Harley parts I'm looking for a crank case for an 89 evo 1340 or perhaps even the entire engine if need be.
Thanks to any & all who respond, good to be back. Ride safe guys!

from my understanding this is my situation. The steal seal inside my aluminum crankcase is letting oil slip past into the primary. Causing pressure to build up in the engine which could eventually case my rocker boxes to leak or take some damage. So replacing the seal is out b/c it will eventually just do it again but I've read ppl riding the bike anyways & just draining the oil from the primary every so many miles.
Which is what I might do as I save up money then just replace the crankcase & engine as a whole.

i'm glad you're excited, but i'm confused. you say your mechanic has been keeping in touch but you are gonna change mechanics to one that communicates with you?

oops! I edited it, I meant to say he hasn't been keeping in touch or explaining things very well at all.
