Run low on fuel and shift into 6th! Sorry, couldn't resist. Both of those lights are in the speedo on the King, yes? I know the other indicator lights on the FLHR's are not individually serviceable and the whole assy needs to be replaced.
Have you verified the issue is with the bulbs and not with fuel sending unit and something in tranny/RPM issue affecting the 6th gear light? Or a wire connection?
I just installed an FLHRS dash on my `07 FLHR. The indicator lights are an LED cluster, which will need to be replaced as a unit. The speedo is not affected.
