Friend of mine has an 09 Ultra and had the same thing happen after his thousand mile service. The dealership ended up replacing the clutch lever and cable.

Didn't I read somewhere on this forum that the '09s have a new teflon coating in the clutch cable and that some lubes like the old standby "dri slide" eats it up?

Just a thought and something to check out.

The cable has been teflon coated since 06, for the purpose of NOT needing to be lubed!

Yep, probably the wrong lube. Dry-slide is a definite no-go. They did it, let them fix it.

The same thing happened on my 09 Street Glide after the 1000 mile service, the dealer replaced it without question
