I have never been able to get ahold of anyone by way of the phone and have left several messages with return phone numbers as well as emails. I was not a tester I purchased a 10" ultra shield and am not happy with the quality, Matt responded by email two weeks later and sent out another shield as a replacement-great I can live with that. I received the second shield and it was worse then the first with several pin hole type marks. At this point like I said I have waisted my money on one shield and would be happy to send back the other shield but I am not paying for return shipping. I really do not want two shields sitting in the garage not being used. So yes normally a company that actually answers the phone I could have a conversation with and have hopefully resolved the issue quickly but again if no one answers the phone calls or emails there is not much I can do on my end except never deal with the company again. Sorry for the thread hijack!

I had the same problem, pin holes, and actually have talked to Alistair on the phone and using e-mails. Unfortunately, the responses have not been forthcoming. First it will be mailed Friday, then it shipped yesterday and last night I got an e-mail saying it was now on the shipping list. I asked for a refund if the shield had not shipped and that went nowhere. I also asked about return shipping charges, since it was their defect and that too went nowhere. Also asked to talk to Matt since that's who I was directed to address the return shield to and was told he would call me back later in the day..Never happened.

Apparently they are have quality control and customer service issues..
In my opinion, buyer beware at this point.

I'm not trashing them or their product. I just want what I've paid for

I'll post his reply... if I get one.
We have a return shipping address on our shipping labels and it isn't a PO box. Packages that are returned to us for any reason always go to the same address.

Well I finally called and got thru to Alistar. He was apologetic and could not understand why the emails did not go thru but gave me thier return address and said they would pay return shipping of the defective shield by way of a Paypal refund and once shipped he wanted me to send a email with the shipping cost. He also insisted on the email was the best way to ge ahold of them and they usually only take a day or two to respond. So hopefully I will get a quick refund and move on from this company.

To be fare I did get an email back from Allister yesterday about the progress of the Road Glide shields and he said "Nothing Yet" but they are still working on it. He also said that there have been some changes and Matt is still there but they have switched roles and he is now taking care of customer request. Looks like they have just done a little reorganization and it will just takes some time for things to get sorted out.

I did receive your email stating that you would reimburse me the shipping cost for the second attempt of returning these shields. Great, the shipping cost will be $21.10 for the return of both shields… I put them in one box.
Oh, and by the way, I originally paid $104.95 plus shipping for the X-stream and the Classic Flip sells for $79.99 on the web page. Maybe I should get an additional refund of $10 since I over paid by that much minus the forums discount.…
You are correct in the fact that there is a different address on the shipping label’s (the current address that you want used) to now return items. That was not stated to me on my packing list or by emails from Matt. How about you address this issue!
Call me a jerk or whatever you like: there are a few unhappy people on this forum that you are a sponsor of and you need to address this issue, promptly!
My postage need be prepaid and a refund of over-payment also because of the fact that you have now pissed me off. You want your shields; pay me via Pay Pal…

Don't worry, you didn't hijack anything. I didn't intentionally start this thread to bash LRS but they got my panties twisted and I'm gonna lash out a bit. I stated that I am willing to return their shields but now since they seem to want to make excuses about shipping labels having the proper return address and their invoice not, I going to get the overpayment that I believe that I am owed.
Maybe I should just send you the shield I have since they won't make good and replace the bad one that you have... maybe I should just keep them and tell them to stick it...
However this ends I hope to make it known that I have dropped credit card company's for poor customer service as well as many other company's that I have dealt with in the past. Direct TV, Verizon and DirectWay are just a few that I screwed with and enjoyed filing complaints on with the Federal Internet fraud agency, State Attorney Generals Office as well as Better Business Bureaus across the nation. As an out of work American I enjoy passing the time getting back with company's that think they are too good to live up to their word, or guaranty.
If a company makes a product they need to make right all complaints that they have against them, or try like hell to do so. It seems that there are too many people on this forum that have complaints about the way they are being treated by this company.
That's why I like to deal with the same person each time I contact a company and have to wonder when somebody starts answering their emails...

Besides, I have nothing better to do with my time... (I'm in a rare mood tonight Bubba)
