I have a 2010 flhx that needs to be woke up. With all the cam choices I am at a loss. The bike will be driven long distance and will be working in the 1800-4000 rpm range. I am torn with the hq-500,andrews 26,se 204,woods 6-6.The bike is gettin a stage 1 air cleaner, tts, and a d and d 2 into 1 with the quiet baffle. I am not looking to do any other upgrades. I would like to see around 20/20 hp/tq increase. I dont want any lifter noise either. Any input would help.
For that rpm range, don't overlook the SE-255 cams. Do a search and read iclicks write up and look at dyno sheets with these cams. You can get them cheap too.

+1 1800-4000 RPM.... 255s are probably the best way to go.

I chose the SE211 cams...I am very happy with the results!! Sure, a bump in compression will unleash all potential of these cams, but... with the performance I have without doing the 103BB kit, I can't be more pleased... By the way... I ride interstate to and from work, 58 miles round trip, I'm getting 240 miles per tank (5.2 gallon top off) every time.. No lifter noise either.... Good luck!!
I just installed redshift 575's with my 103" build and find them a little later coming on at about 3000 right until the needle is buried!! I may look at a different cam for the lower end next winter, that is if I can hang onto my tags this summer! Whatever you choose you'll be impressed with, makes twisting the wrist soooo much fun!
