This noise is driving me crazy
I have an 07 Ultra and it is making a noise that is driving me crazy. After I have run for a while and the bike is hot if I pull in the clutch going about 15-20 I hear this rubbing sound. It doesn't do it all the time. I heard this sound one other time on my Standard and it was the drive belt tension. I have checked the tension 5 times with it both hot and cold and it is always right on. It is driving me nuts that I can't find it. Anybody out there have a similar experience? Any ideas? I am going on a big trip this summer and would like to straighten it out before then. Thanks.

Even tho you have checked your tensi9n you belt could b running against the pulley on one side or the other... Doesn't have to be very much to make a sound... Check your rotor put the bike on a bike jack kick it out of gear and check your back and front rotors.... Spin your tires and listen see if you can locate it that way....Also your belt still turns when you turn your back wheel if its there you should hear it.....
