It will work on the TC96 and newer-generation TC103. I assume the older 103 (pre-'07 CVO, etc.) used the smaller 7/8" TC88 inner-bearings.

I went through this whole thread. It's easy to see how the bearing is pulled. Now only going by the pics posted of the tool's,unless I am missing something the install still has to be tapped in, as I see no way this tool locks onto the case and Pulls the bearing in? Can someone set me straight?

Yes, the bearing has to be tapped into the case, the outer billet piece acts as a guide and the end of the tool has a relief to set the depth of the bearing. I put my bearings in the freezer over night, oiled em up and literally tapped them in with a very small ball peen hammer, the press fit is loose.

OK. I've been using that freezer trick for years, when I put bearings into the chaincase on snowmobiles. Never thought of using that trick on this project. Thanks for the reminder.

When I installed my new bearing a few years ago I used the Harbor Freight Inside bearing slide hammer puller set and the Georges garage installer. I have since used the ID puller for other projects and works well. Prior to using the ID puller I installed electrical tape (which expands) around the ID puller mandrel to prevent any loose parts from entering the case. This worked well.

Maybe so for pre-07 TC motors but the blind hole puller from autozone will not work on 06 dyna and 07 later TC 96 due to the larger diameter inner cam bearings. The collets in the kit are either too big or too small to grasp the bearing ID.
I checked it out yesterday and ended up ordering Gary's tool instead for my 2010 fatboy.
