Brad - do you mean after getting rid of the cat or after going to the Fuelmoto 2-1-2 map?
After getting rid of the cat - for sure a difference in heat
After loading the 'new' map - um.. maybe?
Since you are going from stock, you wll absolutely find the bike is much more of what you would expect performance wise. Just be realistic in your expectations... this won't make it into a Ducati. I've experienced a much more even feel to the throttle as well as better power in the 2300+ RPM range. Not much different off the line. Pulls steep hills better.
The Fuelmoto mods are money well spent - no regrets! I'm sure you will say the same thing...
Senior Rider,
hi again, i have been following this thread very close and ordered the same stuff from fuel moto,I hope to put them on the bike this weekend.
right now on vacation here and have the bike with me , still all stock, running way too hot and power loss is disscusting for a 25 thousand dollar purchase. Yes its even the same color pearl & black i will be putting the pipes and mapping device on as well as the air cleaner on but i have to wait on the back ordered catless header pipe to arrive an order to get rid of the cat. I wish you all well with the improvements. i also think that this site should help all of us to come up with a good solution. anyone here, feel free to email me on this topic boy1ck@yahoo.com
might as well chime in. i have the blue/black limited. i got stuck in stop and go traffic last week in about 100 deg temps. it started pinging and continuied pinging for another 60 miles until i got home ; mostly at 60 mph. also noticed the lack of power. when i was in the traffic i thought my right leg and calf were on fire ! of course we know HARLEY ISN'T GOING TO HELP .
i just bought a 2010 Ultra 96" 2 week ago have about 600mi. on it and was tooling around town this weekend and noticed the same issue, had to roll on the gas more han usual from stop. asked the guy I was running with and he said he noticed the same thing, mine is completly stock for now and his is a 2009 with reinhart slip ons, its been right around 90 degrees up here in michigan, but should the bikes really be doing this? this is my first Hd so I'm new to all this.

Upgrade your bike with Fuelmoto Power package, and you will be very happy with it.
I did the upgrade and no more heat burning my thigh any more.
Well, got back from last weeks trip. Hard to tell what effect the new cat has had because I spent most time at cooler altitude and 1000 miles of riding in the rain. Bike's power was fine except for some hotter temps one afternoon in the Valley of Fires. Bike seemed to loose a little power and pinging, but also the highest octane gas I could find in NM was 90.... So the weather here is getting hot again, I'm on it today, and I'll update as soon as I find out for sure.
I have a 2010 Limited, stage 1, Race Tuner, Vance and Hines Monster ovals and I am having major power issues with my bike, spitting and sputtering, cold or hot, does not always do it though. Have not narrowed anything down to duplicate the problem. Does it when taking off or at interstate speeds, sometimes on the Interstate I cannot get the bike about 80MPH due to loss of power. Dealer has replaced fuel pump twice and the coil, SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED! Looks like Harley might be having issues with the CAT maybe? Have about 6000 miles on the bike. After the dealer replaced fuel pump first time rode from idianapolis to DC and no problems.
