Ok so i said i would report my findings on the 940's after installing, here we go.
It should go without saying that these are a far cry from the standard air shock set up and I also cannot compare to any of the other fine shocks out there but... I am very happy with my choice. Installed a day before we left for Americade and put just over750 miles on them over the next couple of days. Good sampling of road surfaces too - from city (NY) streets and highways to the smooth windy mountain roads in the lower Adirondacks. Bike was smooth and stable and held whatever line i steered through. Highlights a few weeknesses in the front end so will soon look into swapping out the fork springs.
Overall a very good to excellent shock. Seemed to raise the back end ever so slightly but a fair trade off imho.
