Clutch adjustment screw replacement.
Hi all,
Ok, this is in relation to my previous 2 posts. To cut a long story short, the clutch adjustment screw has sheared off. What i need to know is, can i replace it directly, i.e., can i just screw the old one out and replace it, or do i have to dissassemble the clutch? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but my mechanical skills are limited, and i just lost my job, so i gotta keep maintenance costs down (in other words, i gotta do it ALL myself now). Thanks in advance. Gee.

If your asking about the center screw at the clutch hub then all you have to do is remove the snap ring that holds the adjuster plate, pull the plate, retrieve the sheared off part and thread a new adjuster screw into the plate and reinstall with a new snap ring.

That's obsolete and has been superseded to 37090-84A. If you can find one at a dealer or elsewhere it will still work, it's just the obsolete part.
