Default O7 FLHX fluid capacities

I have read the manual and talked to the dealers, I am getting contradictory info.
Does anyone know how much engine oil, tranny oil and primary oil goes into a 07 FLHX.

I put in 3 1/2 quarts of engine oil after draining and replacing the filter. After running it until it's hot I check it with the dipstick and fill it to the upper mark. The primary takes 38 oz. if you just drain it, 45 oz. if you removed the cover and lost it all. The tranny in your '07 takes 1 quart (32 oz.). Just did mine about 2 hours ago.

i have an 07 electraglide and just changed all 3 holes, oil with filter 4qt but put in 3.5 and check. tranny 32oz put in 3/4 and start checking. primary, if you take the primary off it 45oz if you just pull the plug and fill from the cover it 36oz or fill to the botton of the cover before it spiils out, change all three with the bike level and on the stand, i like to use the hex rench on the plugs because it harder to strip, when you put the primary cover on use a criss cross bolt pattern.save yourself the trouble and buy the manual for $50 bucks. Correct for '07 and newer. I have an oil-cooler and 3.75 qts. tops-off the engine.

Exactly. Only difference would be if you have an oil cooler it might take a little more motor oil.

The dealer told me that its 4 qts engine, 1 qrt tranny and 1 qrt primary. The manual is stating 3.5 engine, 1 qrt in tranny and 38 oz in primary. I'm going to do it myself and thought that the 6oz difference in the primary could be a problem.

Would 6oz less cause a problem in the primary?

The dealer will tell you 4 qts probably because they won't sell you 3.5 qts. The TC88's took 1 qrt in the primary and a lot of folks just throw in 1 qrt in the TC96 and call it good. The answer to the primary is 38oz wet or 45oz dry, however the technical answer is to fill it until the fluid just covers the bottom of the clutch basket whilst the bike is sitting upright.
