I'm not trying to horn in but I was hoping someone could answer a quick question for me. Just how far can an 88 be taken to. I know they'll go to 95 ci. will they go bigger? Thanks for any info you folks can provide.

You would gain nothing.
88" & 96" piston (bore size) is the same.
96" was achieved w/longer stroke.
Using the same size big bore kit that will make
an 88 a 95 will make a 96 into a 103.

Confused yet?

Myself I like the shorter stroke config of the 88.
Bumping to 95 seems like a good solid (more square)
eng config.
I'm sure the 96's run good (only ridden a couple demo
Street Glides) the one with the stage 1 seemed ok.
The stk one was a gutless wonder. But un-do all
the epa garbage . . .

You do know the jugs on a 96" are the same size as the jugs on an 88".

The 96" motor is stroked from the 88's 4" to 4.375".

I have heard of people taking the 88 jugs to 3.875. That gives you 95".

Depends on if you're talking about just boring the cylinders or not. You can take an 88 to 120 and beyond by splitting the cases, working the crank, etc. There is a 98 kit available.
