2010 ultra limited throttle issue
2500 mi. last week engine light came on. went to dealer. they took codes from history and said they meant the throttle was out of sync. cleared codes and bike has run fine till tonight. light came on again and the throttle over revdd big time killed engine.Scared the **** out of me Restarted and light was off but throttle is way out of wack. idle is 2500 unless i rotate throttle to off. will call dealer in am and have them advise. This is my primary form of tranportation. anyone else have this issue with the electronic throttle on the newer bikes?????

3400 miles on my 2010 Ultra Limited and no problems with about 1000 miles planned for this weekend......I'd be pissed big time were I experiencing your issues...hope your issues get resolved quickly......good luck....

5300 miles and that's one I haven't heard of yet. I've had an itermittent failure to start that's kind of driving me crazy.
I'm sure they'll get your issue sorted out soon. Post up when they do, eh?

well called dealer and explained they said throttle body needs to be replaced. They asked me to cycle the ignition and see if the idle would come down. after 3 attempts at the procedure the idle came down to norm and the throttle is back to normal. they are going to call me back about fixin the throttle body.
lets see 25,000.00. 2500mi. i think if i'm willin to ride the 53mi to get it fixed now while i wait it shouldn't be an issue we'll see in a short while great ridin bike but i knew this electronic throttle thing sounded like an issue when they switched to it in 09 what the hell was wrong with the cable....

bike goes in on tuesday, needs new sensor but it reset so ok to ride till them. dealer said not to worry so i'm not./ bike is working fine since reset but they siad would more than likely happen again unless they replace sensor..... good thing cause livin without a ride sucks.

I believe you turn it on and off about 5 times without actually starting it. Every once in a while when I start my '08 Ultra it idles at 1800 or so, so I do this and then it starts and idles at the normal 1k.
