I have a 2010 Ultra with 1500 miles and now I have an issue with the PTT intercom. We both wear full-faced helmets with the Harley headsets.
Issue, the PTT doesn't work at all. No break in the music like it normally does. No hearing myself talk in the headset. It was like the PTT button wasn't connected. It worked last week when my lovely wife and I went riding. It didn't work today. The VOX intercom worked just fine.
We went on a group ride were I used the CB radio today. The PTT worked just fine. Everything else is working like it's suppose to.
I looked at the owner's manual and couldn't find any reason for it not to work.
With the INT turned on, turn the VOX setting all the way down until it's disabled. Then you can use PTT for your intercom. Also, pretty sure you know, but if you have your CB turned on it will broadcast whatever you're saying to your passenger when you press the PTT button. If you choose to use the PTT setting with your intercom, you should turn the CB function to OFF. If you haven't figured out how to set the volume for your intercom, there is no setting for it until you push the volume button on the handlebar. Then you'll see the volume settings on your screen. You can't see them by simply pressing any of the buttons on the main faceplate for the HK system.
Let us know if that helps at all.

I'll try that tomorrow. It had been working fine with the intercom turned off and just using the PTT button.
Very rarely do we use the CB and the CB wasn't on when we discovered it not working right.
